Something I’ve found useful on the boat, has been a wall mounted soap dispenser for the shower. In a confined space, showering in a small cubical like those on motorhomes, bending down to pick up bottles of shampoo and shower gel gets to be very problematic! A wall mounted soap dispenser solves a lot of issues:

Keeps the shower tray and shelves tidy by eliminating the need for multiple soap bottles and bars.

One of the primary benefits is improved hygiene. With a soap dispenser, there’s minimal to no contact with the soap itself, reducing the spread of germs.

Dispensers distribute a fixed amount of soap, which helps reduce waste. This can result in long-term savings, especially when you bulk buy the soap to refill it.

Soap dispensers can prevent spillage which might occur with open soap bottles, reducing slip hazards in the shower.

Wall-mounted soap dispensers can free up shelf and floor space making them ideal for smaller bathrooms.

Many dispensers are transparent or have a window, allowing one to see when the soap level is low and needs a refill.

Dispensers provide consistent and appropriate amounts of soap with each use, ensuring effective hand washing without using excess product.

Liquid soap from a dispenser is generally less prone to contamination than bar soaps and bottles, which can often sit in water and develop a layer of film.

I have two of these dispensers now. A dual dispenser in the shower cubicle on the boat, and a triple dispenser that fits neatly into the corner of the shower at home. They’re easy to install, simply apply the supplied double sided tape and silicon gel to the bracket and stick against the cubicle wall.  Once the gel has cured, the dispensers can be slotted onto the bracket and filled with your choice of shampoo, conditioners and soaps.
